About Dr. Ward
I have been a clinical practitioner in the Arlington area since 2010. I received my undergraduate degree from Amberton University in Professional Development, my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University, and my Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling from Lincoln Christian University.
I am a native Texan, a third generation from the Tarrant County area. My wife Barbara and I together have four grown adult children and additionally blessed to have 10 grandchildren scattered in Texas and two additional states. Barbara and I live with our peek-a-pom dog named Ringo, who is one of the family.
I spent fifteen years in public education, specifically with high schoolers and their families. During my counseling internship, I worked with children ranging in ages from six to fourteen and their families. I currently work with individuals, couples, families and organizations including churches. I also spent ten years in full time ministry as part of staff in various roles to families. I enjoy spending time with family, especially my wife Barbara. She and I are active in our local church.
